Miggy's got some great qualities and that worked out but you've got a pitcher who can't throw strikes, bases loaded, no outs and Miggy doesn't take a single pitch. That just as easily could have been an out at home or a DP. Luckily it bounced funny after Miggy reached way out of the zone.

Astros baserunning at it's best. Running into outs with a struggling pitcher.

Awful even if we scored big this inning.

Tejada's inability to field a fairly easy groundball may change the entire complexion of this game. I have no idea how that wasn't ruled an error. It should have been at least an out, likely a double play.

Tejada gives you x number of wins over the average SS because of his offensive abilities but he also costs you x number of wins compared to the average SS because of his poor defense. The net gain may not be as positive as some think. Defense at the SS position is huge.

He comes the base hit up the middle that'll score 2.

Dude, are you even watching the game?

Tejada f'ed things up more than anybody else, not to mention Hanley's bloop hit.

Oswalt took the ball clearly less than 100% and pitched fairly well considering that fact. If not for Tejada's poor defense, the Marlins may have scored no more than a run here.

Tejada juggles a ball, but Roy looked rough.

Heads up play there by Tejada.

Hanley hit a ball 200 feet in the air that landed fair about 10 yards beyond 1st base then Tejada bobbled a ball that every SS in the league should turn into to a DP.

Oswalt looked off but I blame that inning mostly on Tejada and it's not the first time Tejada's defense has cost us. Pull up any stats you can find, Tejada is one of the worst defensive SSs in the league. I love his effort but he's slow, doesn't charge balls well, doesn't have a very good glove and doesn't have a strong or accurate arm, despite some claims to the contrary. He is simply a bad defensive SS when compared to the rest of the league and that has been the case for a long time.

Eh, I'll take him on my team any day.

I thought Pence should have had that ball. If he ran a straight line instead of what he did, he gets it.

One bobble doesn't cost a team 4 runs.

    WALKS.

Marlins are making the hustle plays, getting the calls. We'll be lucky to come out with a win.

Agree to disagree. One bobble can cost you huge and I think that inning was a perfect example.

Pence does have trouble at times with his vertical reads. Horizontally, he's very good.

Oswalt walked 1 batter that inning.

The Marlins and their $37 million payroll own us. This could be our 7th loss in a row to them.

It's not even that. We're just awful. The fact that the Marlins have $60 + million less than us in payroll is just insult to injury.
