That's true, it's not. Because it actually didn't happen. See 2023.

This lineup at the bottom end is brutal. Facing Gilbert. This one is an “L”

Diaz and Allen shouldn’t be starting at this point

Diaz is trying to play his way out of the lineup but Joe says no. I would somehow understand if we would not be hitting at all and desperate to get Diaz bat going. Im thinking do we have options on Diaz left (to get him understand he's on the path out of the bigs and reward other player possibly producing with playing time) and Joe is thinking he is the wizard to get our pitching staff on track :(.

This might be coming from Dana but hard to see him betting his job on Diaz. Why would he? Terrible in everything on defense and cold bat without any zone awareness. I have been on the train of should have played him more in the past but this is not that player anymore or is and league have just stopped throwing strikes to him and he is resisting to adjust at all going like 3rd year now.

Hope we snap the skid today. Go Stros!

8-7 is about right. 9-6 or 10-5 would be overachieving for this team right now if that was their record.

Espada is awful. He should have been fired already

Diaz shouldn't be the starting catches just based on how bad he is at challenges. A lot of pitches that are strikes but was called ball went unchallenged by Diaz.

Im watching Rays v Yankees series couple days now. It's pretty much Boone looking like slightly more experienced stooge like Espada and Cash looking like actual manager. Cash sees in 7th with lead that RP Sulser who started clean inning does't have it and goes get him right away (when possible). They still might lose it but Cash wont let that RP lose it when he has some say in it. They used 7 pitchers yesterday too (also these two) and 5 game before that so they been used too.

We are sinking in terrible streak and our manager is talking about years back excellence of RP(back of that f*ing baseball card). Yes managers don't win you many games through 162 but they can lose you some if freezing regularly or randomly pulling levers not seeing what others see.

rays almost lost the game with kevin cash leaving a RP with a 9+ ERA

at the end of the day, the manager still needs to trust his pitchers to do their job. so far no pitchers on the astros rosters are doing their job
