gonna be a tough july and august. yordan is most likely out for the year. pena prolly has a fractured rib, they just don't want to say it. Meyers prolly has a partially torn achilles, they just don't want to say it. paredes prolly has a partially torn hamstring. gotta figure out somehow, someway play 0.500 ball for the rest of the season.
Glad Hunter got out of it but they worked his pitch count. Unfortunate it all started with two weak swings. Unsure why dubon didn't throw out jrod at first. Feels like we're still paying off that winning streak. The 6-9 in our lineup is brutal. And we're not making Woo work.
5 hits for Hunter Brown in 3 innings?……(1) You can cool that Cy Young talk, & (2) Better be working those phones for no worse than a #3 pitcher….
The more I see the more I don’t need to see with him. Four weeks in I posted about his inability to catch up with ANY elevated fastballs and he still can’t. As a MLBer if you can’t foul off 96 routinely you’re in trouble.
Offense, pitching, and defense are all hurting with the injuries... everyone is just a downgrade on every aspect of the game.
Some of these umps need to go back to school. If you’re watching the pitcher or catcher and you miss a pitch that catches a large portion of the plate then you’re not paying attention to the pitch itself until it hits the mitt like you should…..
Damn offense didn’t help Brown by getting 3 outs on 5 pitches. How stupid can you be? Where’s your thought process?
this team was held together by the pitching staff. now that the pitching is no longer amazing combining with AAA batters, we're getting the 2024 April-July Astros
