Man, you really hate Chas. You’re scared that he will get hot. I think Jake’s job is safe if that happens. Root for ALL Astros.

 

You have me wrong.

I want Chas to get hot. I just don't want another situation where the Astros play a terrible bat everyday hoping he returns to good at the expense of production/runs scored in the meantime.

And I also think Meyers' position is safe even if Chas earns an everyday job.

This team needs a LF ( and RF until Tucker gets back) and even if Chas became Willie Mays, replacing Meyers with him would not be the best way to improve this team.

FTR: I would love for Meyers to get replaced with someone better. ThexAstros just don't have anyone better right now.

 

I do root for ALL Astros.

That doesn't mean I don't have opinions on what I think the team should do, or what I think may happen in based on what I see, read, and study.

I have never ever said I want any Astro to fail.

I have, many times, said I think this is what they should do or what I think will happen.

Just because a person thinks it may turn out bad does not mean they want it to.

You don't appear to understand the difference.

You also have said that you dont know what you would've done when we were discussing Luhnow. I respect this.

 

How mant AB's would you give Chas. I would give him regular AB's until the deadline and see how he does. If the chance to trade Chas for Erceg type RP presents itself then I wouldn't hesitate to make a move.

 

I fully expect him to be traded

 

At this point, there is nobody in the OF who has been playing good enough for it to be a bad idea.

Play him everyday and hope.
