Am I a bad fan if I choose not to watch this game today? I usually really look forward to day games, since I work from home.
Biggest game of the season, and they put ****ing Abreu out there. Like a bunch of others, I'm reaching my point with this team. It's beyond frustrating.
I just think its got something to do with Espada if they're going over his head and you got things like Dubon pinch running , This dude is f*cked as a manager and they know it
Yeah, I’m not saying he isn’t a good player. I just think the Jays are going to want too much for the guy. And at this point, swapping Vladdy and Singleton doesn’t make this team a WS contender so not sure why we would give up more farm depth.
OPS Over the past 30 days: Alvarez .752 Bregman .658 Altuve .597 Diaz .484 Chas .154 (13 PAs) Even if this team adds Vlad, it's not going anywhere with those guys performing at those levels. Too many weak bats for a single guy, even if it was a superstar, to cover for.
Yea so far he's been a borderline failure at in game moves, really baffling since there is a ton of experience in that dugout. You would think he'd be taking input being a rookie manager but it sure doesn't look like it. As for players, they all have to perform, their asses and future paychecks are on the line so regardless how **** my manager is for my sake I'm going out to rake and defend every day. If they're letting a rookie manager affect their performance and piss and moan then they're less of a pro then I thought.......
I’m gonna watch today But I’ll do it at the bar, that way if it’s close late when we lose it will be all blurry anyway
It is amazing he has not been credited with an error this week despite all the misplays and lack of reaction time
Abreu starting what, 3 of the 4 games in the most critical series of the season so far?? Abreu should have stayed his ass in SL until he started at least performing there, if at all. If him or his camp told the team after those two games bring me back or let me go, then they should have just let him go.
I understand it's a limited # of AB's, but Chas has a WAR of -0.4 and an OPS+ of 59. Diaz WAR -0.1. OPS+ of 85. Tucker is 1 for his last 17 in the last 5 games. But Espada is so stupid playing a player with a WAR of -1.5 and and OPS+ of -19.
I agree. That was stupid to bring him back so soon. From what I heard or read he didn't do much in Sugar Land.
