You know we are going to get at least one run. Got to keep our streak alive of consecutive games only scoring in one inning. Let's hope it's a big inning.
I think you’re just making **** up to complain about at this point. Under Click in 2022, We gave JJ Matijevic 71 PA and Nike Goodrum 45 PA in 2022. The bench was without question worse than it is right now. Under Lunhow in 2019, we gave 60+ PA to both Derek Fisher and Jack Mayfield. Bench was pretty much on par with what it is right now. As far as the bullpen goes, as Sealclubber already said, the middle relief has been fantastic. Tayler Scott, who he picked up, is a large part of that. Regarding the starting pitching, no one could have ever foresaw we would have this many injuries. Almost the entire lineup has vastly underperformed. Abreu has been the worst hitter in baseball by a mile outside of Maldy. Bregman hasn’t been much better. Diaz and Chas, the fan favorites from last year, have been bad. Yordan hasn’t been himself either. Couple all that with the lack of situational and clutch hitting, and the results speak for themselves. Not sure how ANY of that is on Dana Brown, but sure, keep complaining and talking out of your ass. Edit: The biggest mistake Dana made was hiring Espada. Seemed like he pushed for him and that has ended up a disaster so far. If you want to complain about something he’s done, that’s where you should start.
yeah but the second Abreu's in the lineup over bJSingleton is gonna be wtfvckery from sea to shining sea. ....and I aint ever trying to see that happen-- because whats good or the field/lineup is whats good for the field/lineup. edit: YEAH, so hey Jose-- SIT ON THE FVCKING BENCH AND MASH WHEN YOU're called up to do so.... EARN IT MF source: 42 y/o caucasian male who knows how to manage a team / media environment
Actually I just don't like the overall construction of the roster, didn't last year either but to be fair, that wasn't really Dana's team It really is that simple, and I said that before the season started, so i'm not just complaining to complain In fact, if you have ever read my posts, most of them are way more positive than 99% of the board. I don't like how so many say we lost as soon as we get behind, and how so many determined the season was over back in week 2 So no, i'm not a complain just to complain guy, I haven't been impressed by Dana (outside of the draft, which is obviously too early to grade, but there are signs that he might have hit on some guys) Sorry it bothers you so much
Abreu has to go obviously, but other than that, this team just isn’t going to win unless Bregman, Yordan, and at least one of Chas or Diaz begin to perform. It’s really as simple as that.
My point is we aren’t losing because middle relief wasn’t addressed or our bench is terrible. Caratini, Dubon and Singleton is a SOLID bench. If Pressly, Abreu, Bregman, Chas, Diaz, and Yordan were performing, this team would be comfortably in first place right now, despite all the injuries to our starting pitching. Hell, even if just Bregman and Yordan were, we would be in first place right now likely by a slim margin.
Regarding Dubon at 1B: sure he can play it, perhaps better than Singleton. But it limits his versatility. Altuve, Bregman, Pena, Yordan, and others could all use a day off and/or play DH. Astros have been going all out and still losing. Dumbass Espada needs to stop wasting games with Abreu in the field and Bregman at cleanup. This crap has already reached a sabotage level of stupidity. Common sense aint always common.
