Can’t expect the pitching to maintain the level it did during the win streak.

At some point the bats have to contribute.

Hopefully getting their asses kicked by the last place Mariners will light a fire under everyone, including Dusty. He needs to shake up the lineup. Can't depend on dominant pitching all the time.

Urquidy just trying to make it easier for Dusty and Click to decide who goes to the bullpen for long relief when Odorizzi comes back. Or give Brown a call up from Sugar Land.

Keuchel makes Urquidy look like a Cy Young candidate.

I haven't looked at his numbers, but is he a candidate to convert to a lefty specialist reliever? Maybe a switch to relief could help him extend his career a bit. He's close to hitting 10 years of service time, I imagine he's motivated to get at least to that point.

Wake up to a 6-0 shellacking. Urquidy sucks lately. Offense sucks all the time.

We have no swagger. No heart.

Springer played with fire and heart
    Correa same.
    Cole had gruff

Kyle is a great player but he's a mouse.
    Alvarez too.

We let the heart and soul of the Astros go.

I'm not saying Correa deserved the money over playing Pena, but the guys are followers.

    Springer was special

Correa isn't worth what he is making compared to Pena

    Cole had spider tack

And they hold on to win! What a game. Angels loaded the bases with 2 outs, down by one, but the Jays leave them loaded.

Romano tried his best to blow it but the Jays hang on to win.

we lost a lot more than a good center fielder. We lost the heart and soul of this team. Sure we did good last year. But it is clear these guys are going through the Motions. Where is the rubbing or La piña’s hair. Where is bregman staring down the camera. Where is any sort of excitement? Is it Baker? The players? Click not making the right moves?

What options are there to have our players junk descend and have them have that swagger again? Need. Bat with an attitude. And although JV has pitched great I think hanging your heat on a 39 year old Tommy John recovering pitcher as your ace with ???????’s behind him is ticking time bomb. Sure they were stellar for a month. But they can’t keep it up. urquidy, javier, odo, All look like 4’s or 5’s. Garcia and Framber. Crap shoot. LMJ? Whatever. With his curveball pronation he will never be anything but an injury waiting to happen.

we need a couple pieces. I don’t honestly know what’s in the farm. But a bat with attitude and a pitcher whos sack drags behind him by a zip code would be nice.
