Where’s Jacob Wilson? He’s like an off-brand Bagwell. Maybe he can spark the offense.

This loss is on Chandler Rome. He reminds me of Martin Short in Clifford.

If Graveman is going to have a bad inning, I'm glad he had it in a game where our offense didn't show up. We wouldn't have won anyway.

Altuve turning into a pop-up machine lately has not been good for the overall offense. He's the engine that keeps this thing churning, and when he's stringing together 3-4 weeks of bad ABs, it really hurts. It also feels like Diaz comes up with runners on a LOT, and almost always it results in weak contact. If those two were hitting the way we know they can, this offense would go back to being fierce. We have to hope they figure it out in the next month, otherwise the White Sox pitchers are going to cook us in a playoff series.

    https://www.chron.com/sports/astros...upply-Drive-storm-donate-tickets-16425720.php

The Astros are giving away free tickets to an upcoming game for anyone donates at their Louisiana Relief Supply Drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at Minute Maid Park.

The drive, hosted by the Astros Foundation, is collecting items that will be transported by Crane Worldwide - owned by Astros owner Jim Crane - to communities in Louisiana impacted by Hurricane Ida.

Those who donate will be given two tickets per vehicle to the Sept. 6 game against the Mariners.

The drive, which will be done curbside on Crawford Street at the Union Station entrance, will accept bottled water, bug spray, brooms, garbage bags, mops, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and bleach, as well as hygiene products (toothpaste, shampoo, soap). Baby products, such as diapers and wipes, all paper products, plastic cutlery, and pet food, also will be accepted.

The Astros had a similar drive last year to help those in the Lake Charles, La., area after the devastation of Hurricane Laura.

Yeah, it doesn't take much. I bought two 24ct water packs. I'd imagine you could even bring 1 pack and be fine. The tickets supposedly are valued at like $80 something according to a few ticket websites I visited to check.
