Seattle has a terrible offense. You’d think one of these games where we score 8 plus runs would be easy.
Javier is a 3 inning pitcher…. 2 inning pitcher… 1 inning pitcher… 2/3’s of an inning pitcher. Annoying because now he’s not available for another 2-3 days, where he’ll then be lights out. Of course Raley will still get 4 opportunities in the interim. Again, they better figure out soon how to get him more consistent and throw more strikes. More warm up time? Less time in between appearances? More time in between appearances? Make him a starter again?
Just flabbergasted that a team hitting a collective .215 is giving us this much trouble. What would help is if we’d stop walking some of those aforementioned .215 hitters. This entire series has been annoying af.
Yeah it feels like he’s being wasted. They may be tinkering with all those things and haven’t come up with the right solution. He’s a starter and a good one, but he doesn’t have a spot right now.
BTW it’s only the bottom of the 7th. We have two more whole innings of this. Idk what Dusty and Strom need to do but they need to figure out how to get our pen to stop missing the strike zone against poor hitters. It’s obviously a recurring problem.
