    Back in the old days, they always assumed you bring in a lefty to face a lefty. It doesn't matter if a right hander is more successful against lefties. It's just an old rule. Dusty was taught that, stats be damned. It's just like you HAVE to insert lefties and righties evenly in the lineup.
