"Yeah, we got a strikeout! Shark attack!"

"TK has gone off the rails."

That strikeout was the most entertaining thing so far this season.

Can we at least get Leake out of the game?
    Nope!

I'm just worried about you worrying about your stats, and stat-padding, and run differential, etc.... Hope you're ok.

It's nice that they made all the guys out injured feel wanted, they were probably starting to have some doubts.

I didn't mean to say I dislike Peacock as a starter, I meant to say Valdez goes to the pen if we add a starter, and Peacock becomes starter #5, and moves to the "playoff pen". Games like this can be frustrating, also bitterness about an MLB Pick Em I participate in LOL. I said, I loved what he did in the 2017 playoffs, and, while we obviously can't turn back the clock, since it worked in 2017 I believe he'll do it again. He struggled when he got the playoff start in BOS, then was absolute MONEY in the bullpen in Games 3 and 7. Honestly, I'd argue he was our most valuable pitcher in the World Series. Yes, Charlie got the last innings of Game 7, but Peacock had to put out the fire that McCullers had when he was pulled in the 3rd inning.

Anyway, I won't mention that guy who's not on our roster again (unless we do indeed trade for him). On to the next game. Thank God that Pressly, Osuna, Harris, and Rondon got some nice rest. Can't win em all, go Astros!

Rodgers and Guduan not exactly making good impressions to stay in the show.

All in all, this was actually a solid loss. Gave all of the real relievers a needed day off and we are back to the top of our rotation.

Or Martin, or Framber? Or Devo? Or.....

But no, Stros don't need another couple of arms.

Every time they send guduan it feels like they just send him in to give the pitching staff a good day of rest.

Devo has 6 straight scoreless outings FWIW. And Framber, as hard to believe as it is, actually has a 3.12 ERA.

Yeah it's been such a huge problem...that I didn't even realize it until now. If only we had a mediocre left handed pitcher had literally not entered my mind at any point this season.

I think we could use one more great bullpen weapon (my faith long term in Rondon and Harris isn't high), but specifically a lefty is definitely not necessary.

Love The Framber, just hope he can throw strikes and last 5 innings (I believe I read somewhere that in his ~26 IP this year he's had 5 clean innings).

Devo has been getting junk duty, maybe he'll earn more eventually? Maybe he should be earning it in AAA?

    First place problems:
    1. The last pitcher sent down to AAA.
    2. The 5th starter probably being an average pitcher.
    3. The mop up guy once the bullpen gets healthy, and likely not on playoff team.
