    Giles is consistently poor in non-save situations. It's quite irritating.

    Team closer to me is as big of and issues if not bigger issue than starting pitcher. You can't trust Giles down the stretch or in the post season.

    Well to be honest he was calling those strikes all night so he was consistent with that ! It could have barely caught that corner I'm curious as well

    Im pretty sure you werent the only one to say it. And no,I dont want you to post something such as that. I just hate the defending some posters give him when hes only had a good short stretch pieced in between some really bad ones.

    When a statement like a closer is nails, it usually entails that that closer is dominant as hell. Giles is definitely not that and has never been. Of course closers dont save every game they go into but I, along with many Astros fans have never felt at ease when hes called in to pitch.

    Relieved we won but I don't trust Kenny G for playoffs. Dude has mental f'ing midget written all over his face. Good thing he was facing a .209 hitter after walking 3 straight batters.

    I get the issues with Giles but saying he is "trash" and that he "sucks" doesn't do your argument any favors. He's a good reliever with really good stuff but inconsistent command especially in non-save situations.
