I don't think he's a good 2 hole hitter, he failed there, and the RedSox announcers were pointing out his every failure trying to move runners and and his situation hitting, I had to agree with them. It was miserable. He's done much better in the leadoff role.

Springer was a few milliseconds away from a 3 run bomb . It sucks bregman and altuve didn't come through , but it was too early in the game for spring to bunt and then bregman to play for the sac fly ( in other words , manufacture a run) Altuve jumping at the first pitch is frustrating when it doesn't work ... But is statistically a good strategy.
