Sipp may not suck as much as we all thought? Devenski and Feliz may not walk on water just yet? Bullpens are a crazy animal.
I've gotten to believe this bullpen is gonna come in every time and not give up a run but I just told myself it's the nature of the beast it's gonna happen. Devenski has been pretty darn good up to this outing today
This might be a non-sequitur or have been posted previously, but that cangrejero guy appears to be posting in the crawfishboxes game threads now. We traded him for snake essentially. Totally okay with that deal.
Oh god, he's going to troll the hell out of that board too? Hopefully they have less tolerance for him than we do

Don't look now, but Jake has a 6-game hitting streak* and is batting .350 (7-20) during that span. His average has jumped from .173 to a whopping .200 *he PR'd yesterday, but didn't get a PA.... not sure how that affects hitting streaks

Would be disappointed with anything less than a series win.
Good to see Gomez finally get into one. He has been hitting into a lot of tough luck this month (.147 BABIP) after having a really hot BABIP month in June. The important thing, at least to me, is that he isn't striking out at a high clip like he was earlier in the season. Even during his struggles, his BABIP stayed above .300. If he just puts the ball in play he will be a productive, if unspectacular, hitter.
Glad I was wrong about that bottom of the lineup though I'm not sure it gives me warm and fuzziness going forward on a regular basis. Still wish Reed would get more PT or let him work out the kinks in Fresno. That foul ball was difficult to get in that Sun yesterday so while Reeds defense isn't elite, hard to really knock him for that.
