Hahahahahaha. You need to tell your 12.5 million dollar reliever to actually record an out and not **** the bed each and every outing.
If Angels win out then that means the Rangers, will lose at least 4 games. Currently the Astros are 3 games behind the Rangers in the lost column.
Guys, this season is as good as over. The way this team has played on the road and with Hinch guaranteed to keep sending Neshek out there, do ya'll really feel they are going to win out? They're more likely to lose out. I don't think they will fire Hinch but he should be on an extremely short leash going into next year.
This is the Astros road record by month since the hot start: June **** 4 - 10 July **** 3 - 10 Aug **** 5 - 10 Sep **** 3 - 9 Total 15 - 39 Texas' in that same timeframe: June **** 8 - 8 July **** 6 - 5 Aug **** 5 - 6 Sep **** 9 - 7 Total 28 - 26 It was no collapse and its not the manager. These guys are just a hot pile of stinkin' SH** on the road. It has finally caught up with them.
This late season collapse in a nutshell...for Rocket fans who may not understand what is going on and need a better translation... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/oU8jICYLUgo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
We'll know tomorrow if we should become Angels fans or Rangers fans. Hopefully the Astros win tomorrow and the Angels/Rangers split the series.
If Rangers win, Angels win, or Astros lose tomorrow then they are eliminated from winning the division outright. Best they could hope for is a tie. If all 3 events happen then the Astros are eliminated from the division as Rangers would have 72 losses, Angels 74 and Astros 76, meaning there is no mathematical way to even tie for the division. The dream scenario for tomorrow is Twins lose at least 1, Rangers lose, Angels lose, Astros win. Highly unlikely all 4 happen. If it did happen and Astros win out to get to 87-75 then Astros would need a series split to tie the Rangers for division. If Angels won 3 out of 4 then Astros would win division outright. If the Astros finished 86-76 then they would need the Angels to take 3 out of 4 to create a 3 way tie for division. Let's say Angels win, Rangers lose, Astros win, Twins lose 1. Then you have Rangers 73, Angels 74, Astros 75 and Twins 76 losses. If Astros then win out to get to 87-75 they are guaranteed the WC. If Angels take 3 out of 4 against Texas then you have a 2 way tie with Angels for division at 75 losses. If Rangers and Angels split then you have a 2 way tie between Astros and Rangers for division at 75 losses. If Rangers win 3 out of 4 then they win division. Under most scenarios the Astros might be able to get away with 1 more loss. 2 more losses almost certainly spells doom unless the Rangers do us a huge favor against the Angels and the Twins give up a couple of games. 2 losses and there is virtually no chance to win the WC outright.
woke up and I wasn't feeling like puking again. shake it off and win. on the brightside, neijack won't go to today. keep hope alive.
