    Is there something I'm missing where something worse than making an out can happen by him batting righty on righty??

    Once again: a switch hitter isn't comfortable batting righty on righty. There's a man in 2nd with one out. Should he bunt the guy over to third batting lefty, or take a few hacks righty and hope for "a miracle"?

    Is there really not one right and one wrong answer there??

    The situation was mishandled at least one of the two times. Indisputably.
