    Dont get that . It started with a "single" and a walk, then an error. then a walk. That run should be earned.Then a K, then the other out for an rbi. It should be 1 and 1, one earned, one unearned.

    Balls to the outfield that drop in without being touched have been ruled as hits for forever. As long as that is a hit, the first run is earned.

    Hell, now that I think about it, they both are unearned. If Marwin makes that play, the walk doesn't force in a run and Trumbo's groundout is out 3 with no runs scored.

    Without the error there would be two on with one out. The walk would have loaded the bases with one out. The strikeout would have been out two. The next out with the RBI would have been out 3. Therefore, no run should be earned.
