    Marlins won!! Tragic number down to 13?

    don't look now, but Cosart, Obie, Peacock are showing signs of a potentially decent nucleus in 2014. Lyles hasn't shown consistency but maybe the competitive juices can get flowing...

    I think you're right. I don't mind winning as long as the Marlins of Miami, FL keep winning as well :grin:

    Lyles being only 22 still gives him some time to work on consistency. He's also still gaining a few mph on his fastball, indicating that he may not have reached his physical maturity just yet.

    I like Peacock. He's probably the most likely to have the quickest sustained success.

    Only thing is... he isn't a rookie. He had 161 plate appearances entering this season, and the cutoff is 130.
