Seems that Correa gets the most rest days. Maybe there is something that team Dr's and Correa have come to an understanding about because of past back issues, etc. but I doubt it. Correa likely isn't coming back next year so use 'em while you got him!
Yea I get that these guys don't play every day like players did in the past...but with Dusty it is damn near every game that someone sits...and we are far from a sure thing to make the playoffs
Its not Dusty, its the training staff that tells him who needs a day off. This has been discussed multiple times by Click in his interviews on 790. If Dusty had his way he would run his ass out there every day if he was allowed.
He just said on pregame that he is going to keep these guys rested, Carlos tonight and a different player tomorrow and Saturday and then we will see where we are on Sunday” So maybe, but it doesn’t sound like it
Well Dusty is a liar then Cause that isn’t what he just said, he just said he feels like these guys need days off in order to produce And did we change our training staff this year?
Do you know what these guys’ numbers are the 3 games after they rest vs the 3 games before they rest? I am more worried that Yordan playing this much in the field is an injury waiting to happen.
I too am concerned with the playing of Yordan in the field this much. Does Dusty look at lineups to see if they have a predominately right handed/left handed batting lineup to minimize possible workload in the field for that day?
Framber throws nothing but ground balls. Yordan starts in the OF when Framber starts. I'm sure there are exceptions, but that's been the m.o. But not worried about Brantley?
Tonight it probably has more to do with Framber pitching and being a big ground ball pitcher. So not expecting Alvarez to get a lot of work out in LF.
