So, yay for returning to the mean....

 

Indians radio announcer is decent.

Houston had an interest in both with a lot of talent going to Chicago including major league players already contributing for the Astros. The Red Sox also were trying but ultimately the White Sox owner said not now.

 

Should have called that ball 4 ump. Free run there.

 

So like I said... probably a good thing (for now) that it didn't go through, given how he's not only completed an extremely fast adjustment... but his projected ceiling as a MLB player is now higher than ever.

 

Wheels falling off for Cleveland a little this inning. Astros taking advantage.

 

Hard to know how the Astros would have faired with Sale and Quintana. While Bregman's value has increased, the other key piece (McCullers) has seen his value take a hit.

Agree that White Sox probably should have taken deal with Houston.... I know the Sox think the market for Sale and Quintana will be hire this off season with Red Sox especially being interested. I just don't know that anyone will give them what Astros were discussing.

 

I'm not understanding pinchhitting for Gurriel with Marvin...

Wasn't a pitch hit. It was a defensive sub at 1st in that bottom of the 7th.
