I agree, he can be a big time reliever...but just seems like he might need a little more mental conditioning until he's ready.

Happy to see him get that out!

That slider on the 2-2 count was :eek:

    Surprised the batter layed off.

    Pitch was a Buzzsaw.

    Kluber owns Correa.

He owns a lot of people.

For those holding out hope that the main thing wrong with Keuchel is the Cy Young year hangover (and all the fatigue and mental strain that went along with it), Kluber's bounce-back season would be a very good thing to emulate.

Keuchel sold his soul for last season.

    Lost control and velocity.

Was an epic year that even the Red Sox fans loved.

Kluber's "bad" season was pretty outstanding though. 3.49 ERA, 245Ks in 222 IP, WHIP of 1.05. He struggled with ERA, but all his peripherals held up from the previous year. Keuchel's problems seem deeper with peripherals deteriorating all over the place. :(

True. But there was a point where Kluber's regression was statistically significant, while Keuchel's peripherals were trending up.

Just saying that if health is a constant (which its not), bounce back seasons do happen.

This will probably be his last inning. Just take your medicine and move on.

If they want to throw him in the 7th against the top of the lineup, be my guest... a tiring Kluber is still hittable.

Jake was more LF than LC.

That is why he's out there.

Gregerson is the only back end guy getting paid well.

Am I the only one that thinks it's painful to watch Gregerson pitch. I don't know what it is, but I can't stand it when that guy is in the mound.
