You are correct sir. I've been sounding the alarm since the disastrous 0-4 start to the season in which you could argue we should have won all 4 games. The writing was already on the wall that this gig was WAY too much for him. This team will win 75 games solely based on talent. He won't get us past 80 wins. Seattle will win the division winning 86 games.
Way to answer there. Harrison has had pinpoint command today but hasn’t gone this deep in games often.
I was willing to give him a lot of slack considering that he was the common thread between Hinch-Dusty and Luhnow-Click... but now some of the decision-making is just irrational... or lack of backbone to the front office. Either way, that's a quick way to lose respect among the players. I hope he can turn it around, and he can get through rookie mistakes... but having novices at GM and manager while outsized unqualified personalities (Reggie and Bags) have too much of a say... it is a recipe for disaster.
I am beginning to think that Abreu is on an AB count (probably the same number he had before going to Florida). They are going to compare those two sets of numbers and make a decision if they see any improvement. Until that AB count is met I think Espada is trying/told to get to it as fast as possible. That is the only reason I can see for refusing to NOT PH for the auto out machine in any circumstance.
