Brown and Spencer pitching this good for almost a full month is a VERY huge positive sign for this team’s future contention aspirations.

 

Joe Espada is 8-21 in games decided by 2 runs or fewer.

 

Must say, Brown and arghetti have nutted up when they desperately needed to.

 

If the Astros can’t win a game in which Arrighetti throws 5 2/3 scoreless innings, they are not a contender.

If Espada lets Arrighetti face one more batter, he should be fired. He might should be fired for leaving him in to give up that triple.

 

That's more than just statistical noise... there's underlying conditions that are affecting that record... namely managerial decisions.

Alright Espada... let Seth pitch more than 1/3 of an inning. It's not that hard to use your long reliever for more than one out.

 

Damn, hung a curve…. Still a very good outing.

 

Was 1-2 to Soler and then nibbled and walked him and the run comes around and scores.

 

Dang. That’ll probably be enough for SF. Hell of a game by Spencer though. 2 put walks are killer

Please Espada... don't go with the Abreu-Pressly-Hader combination here. Seth can pitch 1+ innings.

 

Good game by Arrighetti. Please offense get some runs so he doesn't get the L.

 

Knowing how bad this Astros team is, that 1 run from the Giants will be enough to win.

 

Want to see Seth. Scott. Montero tonight. I won’t. But I can hope.

 

I'll just save you a lot of time.

This team is not a contender. In fact no team managed by Joe Espada will ever be a contender.

 

Hopefully I didn't jinx this.
