Since you are using ERA over the past month, do you realize that Framber's September ERA leading into last year's playoffs was 5.01?
Maybe it's good news then he's pitching as bad as he did in September last year. You guys concerned about his innings count. He's never pitched more then 70 innings in a season. He will blow by that amount this year.
Any update with Bregman?.....if it is a mild right hamstring strain. He will have to sit a minimum of 2 weeks again to heal. Won't start running again until week 3. Might get back into skeeters lineup in week 4-5. Hamstrings suck.
I think part of why this series didn't upset me that much is my hatred for the Dodgers. The Giants maintaing their 3 game lead is important. Now we need to beat the Dodgers while the Giants play the Dbacks so their lead can grow more. Dodgers with a 300 million dollar payroll and in a one game wild card game is good for my soul.
yes...general question out to the audience. I'm assuming others read the posts. Wondering if you or anyone else is concerned about his innings count? Are you?
Framber's? He threw 140 innings total in '18 along with 18 innings in the Dominican Winter League. He also threw 114 in '19 with over 23 innings in the DWL after that season.
I would think so. He seems like a pretty durable and well-built guy. Just worry about his command obviously.
We.re 2/3rds thought the season. Inexperience concerns me more than IP, and that not really a concern for Greinke. STARTERS IP GARCIA, L 100.2 GREINKE 130.2 MCCULLERS, JR 97.2 ODORIZZI 60.2 VALDEZ 71.2 JAVIER 78.2 URQUIDY 77.1
McCullers needs to step up tomorrow night against the Dodger's Walker Buehler and his 1.88 ERA over last 100 innings. Match Buehler for 6-7 innings. Show you are the number one ace of the Houston Astros.
