Where did all the people go who were saying Berkman was on the decline, after his "off" year last year? (even though he ended it on a tear, and was still a productive bat... just not what we were accustomed to by Lance standards).
Who has Berkman's stats from the second half of last season? He had a down year last year, but from what I recall, it was because his first half was so bad. If you put together this 2H from last year with his 1H from this season, those are some really good stats.
the 1st half of this season is in another 40+ games. his stats may look even sicker in another month and a half.
Soak it in, fellas! A road trip through LA and SF won't get much better than this. It was just awesome!
what an unbelievable win. maybe they'll talk about the stros and lance on sportscenter or bball tonight tonight. maybe.
Let's keep the momentum going into Arlington. Then we have a huge series against the Cubs. Man, I'm loving this team.
The Astros moved up to 2nd place in the NL Central with this win and the Cardinals loss. The Astros are tied for the 5th best record in all of baseball. Oh yeah, almost forgot... Lance Berkman is a freak of nature.
