Looked safe but ruled out on the field...doubt they would have overturned that but why the hell don't you try? Also a dumbass decision and a terrible jump by Yanier.
Dude reminds me of Don Shula's last days coaching the Dolphins riding around in a cart not knowing wtf is going on
I think coaches (just like the nba) are so scared that there’s going to be some can’t miss call to challenge in the 9th inning/4th quarter that they won’t challenge big plays earlier in the game. And half the time the challenge is never used
I wonder if Rome will be only one in Houston sports media to ask Dusty about that non-challenge. Evan Drellich was a dick but one thing he was right about...the Houston sports reporters are too scared to ask tough questions in fear of getting their credentials revoked.
We've seen Dusty keep a challenge in his pocket in extra innings on a close play which ended the game. Old man just wanted to go home.
His foot came off the bag during his popup slide...very hard to tell if the tag was still on his leg or not from the camera angle they showed on tv Relatedly, I'm a huge fan of the LH sliding glove and the headfirst slide
