Sit Chas against a lefty for Madris, a career Mendoza line hitter. I expect this to go the way of Salazar and Kessinger.
Chaz is 6 for his last 17 in his last 5 games. Baker sits him. Dubon is 5 for his last 16 w/a 4 game hitting streak. Baker sits him.
Besides for Tucker's off day a couple of weeks ago, when is the last time Diaz caught a game in which Dusty put in a reasonable lineup? One would think at least once Diaz would catch a game with Chas and Meyers in the OF and without at least one regular out by manager decision with nearly half the season gone. Today's lineup does not seem random. Dusty does not think Diaz is a good catcher, and basically puts up the white flag everytime he has to have Diaz catch.
He may just be a streaky player which is kind of disappointing. As the team is constructed now, the team needs him to be more.
This is ridiculous, how is he justifying this lineup to Brown and Crane? Does he just have free reign to do whatever the fck he wants? I don't understand this at all.....

I’ve never heard of the guy, so I’m not going to sh*t on him. The fact that Brown and Crane won’t step in with Dusty’s Dementia is way more alarming to me. We don’t need to trade for a hitter, we need to accept Dusty’s and Maldonado’s retirement.
