Definitely one of those "Where were you when..." moments! My wife has video of me jumping around the house like a school kid, falling on the floor and burying my head in a pillow so could scream at the top of my lungs (kids were asleep in their rooms), and then I actually shed a tear for a quick minute.
To me game 5 was the where were you moment. Game 7 made it official but we really won the series in game 5.
I get that but seriously they are on Sunday Night Baseball EVERY time they play - blah blah I get their ratings are better but for a league that is trying to make the game more popular and expand their audience how about trying something different? Or better yet...why not schedule the LA/HOU games on a weekend the Yanks/Sox aren't playing if you HAVE to put them on there. MLB's scheduling and self promotion is downright awful.
Instead of Manfred criticizing Mike Trout for not marketing himself enough, maybe he should take the opportunity to promote the rematch of one of the greatest World Series ever played.
Helps keeps the rotation rested. Not sure why you don't like it. Perfect time for it to happen. Devo hasn't been right for a week or 3, don't need him at the moment.
