MLB The Show got it right with Lowrie. Every time I play The Show in the last few years Lowrie had been SS of the Red Sox and he was raking the ball with high average.

So when the Astros got him I was confident that he was a good hitter, thanks to MLB The Show

Good to get a run early off of CB, he looks like he has good stuff so far. This Astros team is exciting to watch.

So why can't this team score with the bases loaded again...

These late games sure do suck and don't look forward to them in the future, just because "we have one more team in our time zone".

With young kids, it actually makes it easier for me to watch more games. I don't like the move because it's to the AL but the later games don't bother me.

    A Modest Proposal

TLDR: A's possibly on the move? Well, one potential destination: Central Texas.

A little division and league reshuffling could result in these divisions...

D-Backs + Rockies in a new AL West = one time zone difference, since that appears to be the crux of Nolan's complaint, besides wanting a rival.

Mariners and Angels replace them in the NL West, giving the division all teams in the Pacific time zone.

Such a simple idea, yet I highly doubt any of those owners would go for it.

    Not no but HELL NO!

Why do people think Austin and San Antonio are the same area? There is little to no connection between the 2 areas...culturally, sports wise, etc., etc. If you were to put a team in San Antonio, there is no guarantee that people from Austin will automatically become fans. There are a fair amount of Spurs fans in Austin, but most are from San Antonio originally.

Plus, with MLB forcing the Astros to the AL, they had better not allow or create a situation in which the team could potentially lose an even bigger part of their fan base. If it were to become a real possibility, Jim Crane should sue the s*** out of MLB.

    Tough loss :(

I suppose very winnable games are lost even by the best teams.

Why wouldn't this game be televised in Houston, but they do get almost an hour (at least) of the Rangers game on FSH? Makes no sense.

So FSN isn't showing the last last Dodger/Astro game? Didn't they also blackout Strasburg earlier this year? Odd decisions for sure

    Per Alyson Footer:

Abad placed on DL with an intercostal strain; Xavier Cedeno called up to Houston.

I was at the game last night and that was a shot by the Dodgers' Ellis.
