    Great win! Pleasant surprise!

Does Wandy's steady year-by-year improvement remind anyone else of Hampton, circa mid-90s?

WOW...Q's homer must have been such a shock to me that I passes out lol...Good to hear Wandy stayed strong and the bullpen took care of business...very impressive.

Tonight should be tough but ace vs ace should be a blast...by the way ED's daughter looked alot better on camara then the above picture lol

I would hope so. There was one other pic I could find of her and it was on he Villanova profile page, but the pic was too tiny.

Absolutely fantastic to see that the June Wandy was (hopefully) an aberration. He's been on fire lately and is looking like the April/May Wandy. If he keeps that up, Oswalt does what he normally does in the 2nd half, and the others suck a little less than they normally do, there is a real chance to compete for a playoff spot.

I didn't see why Wandy was taken out so early while pitching a shutout. Was his pitch count high?

Quintero was upset he struck out and didn't move the runners over his previous AB. He really layed into to that pitch by Wolf. Quite a blast by Q.

Hopefully, Oswalt will continue the trend. If he shutouts the Dodgers again or even if the Astros win, people/media are going to have to start talking about the 'Stros. Here we go... :D Let's blank'em Roy.

I guess it was time. Didn't seem like he threw that many. Arias was throwing some NASTY hardbreaking, sideways slider that had Juan Pierre scratching his head. Arias has been pretty impressive.

I would just like to say, **** Los Angeles. All over the headlines on every sportspage: "MANNY COMES HOME TO CHEERS!!" Not even a mention of the shutout win by Wandy et al. Same story with the Rockets in the playoffs; instead of, "Undermanned Rockets Push LA to 7," like the media should have said, it said something like "Lakers to Start Trying in Game 7."

LA-- You are just one city. Sure, you are a large city, but you are a city no one outside of you cares about. **** Kobe, **** Manny, and **** LA. If it weren't for those movies, you would be good for nothing.

Nah. ESPN will just show each Manny at-bat and that's it. That's all they showed yesterday. The Astros will only be talked about if we lead the division, but maybe not even then.

Crap. That means Erstad gets starts. That does not bode well for the already anemic offense.

*Facepalm* Yoyo..... sometimes I forget I have to forgive you for being a UCLA and Dodgers fan because you are so crazy about the Rockets :D

I'm wondering if I should go to tonight's game with my Oswalt jersey. Who else wants to go?
