is it just me or is arias pitching a lot these days? isn't he the setup guy at this point, why bring him in down 3, he needs to be pitching with leads, not to hold the opponent while down 3.

Arias looks nasty this season...if we trade Latroy I might consider him for the setup guy role over Sampson.

Ok 3 outs left and the big guns up!

I was thinking the same thing I figure there trying to save
Latroy for a hold situation and with Sampson back here in H-town with his wife they may just not have anyone left!

Damn. So many things went wrong with this game.

But, at least they made it interesting late.

    Bring on tomorrow!

Coste is a waste of a roster space -- why not have someone like bogusevic or manzella instead?

    Positives:

    -Alberto Arias
-Tejada's defense (as good as I've seen him play since coming to Houston)
-Hampton rebounding well after the 1st inning
-Coste looks like a decent pickup

    Negatives:

    -Lee in LF
    -Pence's ongoing slump
    -Keppinger not being called safe
-Hampton in the 1st (other than the error, I don't think he was as bad in the 6th as it looked in the box score, made a good pitch to Kemp and nearly got out of it... Lee didn't help in the 1st)

    Yup, the streak is over...

The team showed some good fight tonight. The Dodgers are a heck of a team. It's easy to see why it's so hard to take 3 in a row from them. They have a solid all around team.
