Lance must be bored out of his mind today out there in LF... there's a good chance that he might make a blunder.

Lance looked sort of bored and hungry during last nights game. Did anyone else notice him pull out a bad of Sun Flower seeds during the game when he was playing first?

You'd be suprised what a lot of ballplayers decide to do during games. Today, on the Dodgers broadcast, they just showed Oswalt using some tools (pliers, and a knife) to open up what I believe was the inside sphere of a baseball.

I just hope he's carefull with those tools and his hands... don't need an accidental laceration.

Yeah the offense really isn't the problem as the team is right in the middle of the pack in offense, sandwiched between St. Louis and NYM in runs scored. So they're getting it done at the plate. We've lost 6 in a row because not one of our pitchers in that stretch put in a quality start with the exception of the first game in Colorado.

...Well finally things start to break the Astros way.

Could anybody understand what the crowd was chanting right before Kent's home run? I'm not positive, but it sounded like "Berkman sucks!"

Jeff Kent just hit back-to-back pitches that were just foul of being a HR... and on the next pitch, he hits a HR.

Wandy was definitely throwing him pitches he liked.

I've had him benched basically all year. Put him back in today and benched Biggio.

You know this was brought up in the Chronicle today; those seats in Dodger stadium have go to be the ugliest color I have ever seen for a stadium seat. I just can't get past that, this whole series.

Burke partially dislocated his shoulder last saturday, and was DL'd immediately.

Come on Lidge. We need a 1-2-3 inning.

At least the hitter had to work hard for those walks. I can stand those. I can't stand the 4 or 5 pitch walks though.

EDIT: OK the 2nd walk was a bad one again :(
