Toronto should win one of their final two considering Tampa has nothing to play for, but crazier things have happened. If Toronto loses their final two, then there are a few more options, like possible all three of Houston, Dallas, and Seattle making it, I think....not sure. Toronto ain't losing.
Unfortunately the national league games don’t start early- that would be nice if the DBacks knew they’d snuck their way in and didn’t pitch their guy. maybe those games end early and they pull all their guys in the 4th or 5th.
Hmmm... Can we somehow get contacts made for Diaz that look just like Urquidy's eyes? Maybe that would do it?
Why would they want to stay ahead of the Marlins? I probably would take Milwaukee over Philly anyway.
My bad, my bad. I lost count. So yes, if they lost the final day, Rangers have the chance to ...wait, I just checked the standings now, but the game in Seattle isn't over yet. Are you sure? Freakin basic math, lol. Wait, both the Stros and Rangers can end up with records of 89-73, correct? In that scenario, Seattle would be out, with a record of 88-74. So yeah, I think there is a scenario where the Stros lose the final day and still win the division.
No, if the Astros lose Sunday they can’t win the division because if the Rangers win one of the next two games they will end up the winner in that scenario since we are one game behind them right now. If the Rangers lose both games and we lose Sunday then the Mariners win the division.
I think if Houston wins tomorrow and Texas loses. They'll be tied but Seattle will be 1 game back. If Houston loses Sunday, either Texas wins and they go up 1 for the division or Texas loses but that means Seattle ties Houston but they win the division due to the tie breaker.
