    Marisnick starting to contribute offensively just in time for Gomez to be taken off the DL. I'm sure robotic Hinch will insert Gomez right back into CF and bench Marisnick. The team is playing much better. Hope Gomez coming back doesn't **** things up.

    Marisnick does have a rabbits foot type of effect on the team. Something I cannot explain. So I'm glad he is here. But see him as a base stealer and Defensive sub only. As much as I don't want Gomez in the lineup, or in the field, seems like he's the better of the two... which is not saying much.

    I have no doubt he will put Gomez in the lineup right away, but I imagine he will sit Rasmus and put Marisnick in left.

    I fully understand the Gomez hate, he has earned it

    But Jake is hitting .225 since Gomez was "sent down"

    I'm Sure Luhnow won't let Hinch just sit Gomez on the bench anyway, reality is his upside could make a big difference for us...although as I've said many times, isn't likely he reaches it

    That's a possibility. Marisnick has earned a right to keep playing instead of being benched.

    .225 is about the same as what Gomez gives us anyway, without the intangible downside that Gomez brings
