Oops, I got it all wrong. When I went on MLB.com on my phone the game didn't show up so I assumed the Stros were off tonight. Happy they are on, will miss Springer tonight.
It's really weird too. When he was in the lower levels he would spray to all fields but since he came back from the suspension he has become an extreme pull hitter. I think it is fixable though with good teaching.
I thought it was odd that the team had batted around (with Villar at the plate), and only had a 2-0 lead... then I realized that the pitcher actually has to bat this game. Guess I did get used to "AL" baseball...
Me too, I don't like it either. On another note, does anyone else agree that we have the sharpest looking uniform combos in the game?
Just for Sunday home games (they have rainbow trim as well). Other than that, its traditional road grey, home white, and the occasional orange for day games.
Yes it is, and Cosart is just nasty tonight This is why I see his age and still think he can develop into more than what he is now
I don't think anybody really does. Some people miss the sac bunting, or the more "predictable" nature of how NL games tend to go (later innings, you anticipate the pinch hit or the double switch, you get more of a feel when pitching changes should/could happen depending on where the lineup is... etc.). Plus, it was a "tradition" that this was always a NL team... but as far as missing "NL baseball", I guess I don't. Besides, the AL usually dominates NL teams in these inter-league games... Astros are doing just that.

I agree And probably shouldn't have commented cause don't want to derail the game tread....we are kicking arse so let's keep it positive
