Too bad Johnny Cash is gone...he could write a song about this. It might start something like this:

I smell the Stros a playin'
    It's rollin' 'round the field,
And I ain't seen the offense,
    Since, I don't know when,
    I'm stuck in Baseball Prison,
    And time keeps draggin' on,
    But that game keeps a-rollin',
    On down to Arizone.

When I was just a baby,
    My Mama told me, "Son,
    Always be a good boy,
    Don't ever watch the Stros,"
But I bought a bat in Reno,
    Just to hit some balls,
When I hear that offense blowin',
I hang my head and cry.

Nice job by McLemore. He looks like a good pitcher to me -- works quick, throws strike, and seems to have a nice downward plane on his pitches.

Agree. McLemore always has a good stuff but is always injured and at times has command issues. Hopefully the problems are behind him because he is much better than Trever Miller. When Jennings comes off the DL on Tuesday, it better Moehler who gets cut.

maybe it's just me, but Wandy had way better at-bats than Adam "let's take weak swings and hope I don't strike out" Everett

I'm road tripping up to Phoenix on Sunday to catch the game. Hopefully the Stros got the turd out of their system for this series.

No runs when we come through your town"

IF that's the case, then 55% should be an easy out. Unless you don't want to count Gonzalez because he's hitting .300.

4 of the everyday players in their lineup are batting under .250. 2 of them under .200.

Nice. A guy hitting under .200 hits a bases clearing double off of us with 2 outs.

This team is just hapless right now. Can we get a hap somewhere?

Do they sell haps at the concessions stand? No, I guess not. If the did, Lance would have gotten one by now. :D
