At least he swung at a strike... breaking ball set-up the fastball.

If only Luuuuke and Mo were flip-flopped this game (hell, this whole series).

Same old Ensberg...clutch situation and he comes up short. Has the guy EVER had a big hit in his life????? He's like Bags all over again.

Damn it! He had a pitch to hit too!

Why do we always seem to lose by 1 freaking run to the DBacks :(

That last inning can be blamed on a lack of patience from Orlando to leadoff that inning.

I can remember a few game tying or winning homeruns. Don't put him in the bagwell territory, he is not that bad

Ensberg needs to tweak his batting stance for the billionth time.

Why does Ensberg have to play put him on the bench and Huff at 3rd. he always messes up. He got out with the bases loaded and he never comes through when we need him to.

While a sweep would have been nice, 2 out of 3 isn't bad. We're 4 games out with 2 months to play. Before long, the WC leaders will be LA. LA won't be this hot for long. They are an extremely streaky team. I wouldn't be surprised if they go on a serious downward spiral after their hot streak ends. The Reds and the Cards will be kicking each other in the grapefruits for the next series and that helps us. I really do like our chances right now. I have been saying it all along and I still say it today; the offense is not the problem now. We have fixed whatever it was that needed fixing. As long as Qualls, Lidge, and company can deliver when they should, we are in awesome shape.

Geez, the guy's gotten at least one hit in every game since he came back before today, and is batting .291 off the rehab stint. He went 2 for 4 Saturday. One bad game and yall are ready to put him out to pasture again. Typical reactionary fan BS.

I'm actually trying to be nice to Ensberg.....His problem seems to be easily seen by everyone he has a different stance with each bat..Hell he even changes his stance in the middle of bats. If I was Sean Berry I would tell him " find the right stance and stay with it BASTRARD !!" Someone needs to tell him...........We should have won this one..........

He FELL DOWN as he was running from 1st to 3rd on Huff's RBI single. As he rounded 2nd, he bit the dirt... and the D-backs could have tagged him out (and thus ended the game)... but luckily the RF inexpicably missed the cut-off man, and Berkman was able to scramble into 3rd safely.

At first I thought he hurt his groin again, because he had his face firmly planted into the 3rd base bag for a good 10 seconds... but he got up with this huge smile... it was just pure embarassment (that didn't cost the team anything... but could have cost them dearly).
