Line out, tag out, batter's interference, runner's interference, fielder's choice, caught stealing, pick off, rule violation (cork, pine tar, etc)...probably a couple more.
I think Lidge would have lost the game last night had he stayed in (duh). Good move by Garner to pull him now in those situations. I was on pins and needles when Wheeler walked in that run, though. Wheeler bounced that first pitch to the first batter he faced and I let out a big scream. Damn, the adrenaline was pumping. But, then he came through with the K. What a game! Not exactly a convincing win with the shaky bottom of the ninth...but pretty good with the 4 homeruns and coming back from being down. That was rather enjoyable. How about those back-to-back HRs by Lamb and...wHo dAt...Willy T! I couldn't stop laughing watching the dugout after he hit that one. That's fun to watch...the banter in the game. I can't wait for the Roger game tonite. Man, I hope we come with the bats at the ready and to play like champions for him. For Berkman to come back after time off and jack one out...sweet! We can do this. One game at a time till the end. Play hard! Let's go! This is the roadtrip to turn it all around. I wanna see some offense out there.
Thank God we pulled it out. I was worried because they were lighting Roy up and I don't think that ever happens. All we have to worry about tonight is keeping our bats warm. I just watched Major League for the first time last night and I thought about us.
Boo. Cincy won and StL is up right now. Must focus on the game at hand though. No sense I guess in worrying about the Wild Card unless the team can actually get back to .500. With a win tonight we'll be within 4.
I've never watched a lot of movies unless it was like Halfbaked or Fear and Loathing. I am catching up.
