Blame Uncle D for that one, sure Selig was pushing for it but Drayton should have grabbed his balls and told him to "F" off.

Ended up being nothing, he just let a ball go through his legs. It was hit hard but right at him, Myers got the next guy so no harm no foul.

Can't say enough about Myers. What an amazing season he's having.

He definitely looks shaky at times, defensively.

He's also made some nice plays though.

Just needs to work on the consistency.

CJ double clutched trying to get the ball out of his glove. Not a very good game for him, defensively.

Seemed like they had a shot at the DP although Byrd is fast. The ball was well struck and right at CJ.

Looks like CJ had trouble getting that ball out of his glove, could have/should have been the inning.

I know the Cubbies are pretty terrible but I don't remember a series where Wrigley has been this DEAD. There is ZERO atmosphere and the place is half empty.

Lopez hasn't walked a batter in a month and a half.

Looking forward, we seem to have some pretty nice arms in the bullpen and that's not even factoring in guys like Arias, Gervacio and other minor league prospects.

Melancon, Abad and Gervacio could be some great middle relief guys along with Lindstrom, Lopez and Lyons at the back end.

Byrdak is having a good year. Not being overworked seems to benefit the whole pen.

I only get to listen to the games, so could you tell me how Melancon looks and how he compares to Lindstrom.
