They choose not to send the runner on Lee after Theriot singles.

    Probably the right call.

A DP will get us out of the inning.

Lindstrom induces a shallow pop to CF. Runner held at 3rd.

    1 out to go.

Tim Byrdak? Don't the cubs have Nady who kills lefties? I hate Soriano, especially when he hit that walk off grand slam and pulled a John Cena and pointed to the 'Stros bench

I had no faith that Byrdak would get it done.

    But he did.

    And I'm an eternal cynic.

I wasn't talking about using Lyon but rather not using your closer in the 8th in a tie game.

Not a big deal. Just found it strange.

Has Lindstrom come in to start the 8th at any point this season?

Patient Castro draws a leadoff walk.

Bourn pinch hits and lays down a terrible bunt that allows them to throw out Castro.

He needs to steal now to partially make up for it.

Our speedsters with a couple of lousy ABs kill what was a good start to the inning.

Should have sent Michael, but the Cubs were definitely on to him.
