Sampson is a ground ball pitcher but he seems to be giving up a lot of line drives and fly balls recently. He paid for the latest fly ball.

If we lose this game I am going to be pissed. Losing a 6 run lead is just ridiculous.

Naturally, the Cubs have an extra hop in their step now. Looking more confident in every facet.

Crazy game. One play can dramatically shift confidence and momentum.

Sampson has sucked the last 2 years. I don't know why he still is here.

Kepp's defense tonight has been a killer.

No excuse to put a lazy tag down there.

That's how JD saw it, too.

Either way, not a great day for Kepp unless he can play hero somehow.

Wright's confidence took a hit regardless.

He was really good until he hurt his shoulder (or was it the elbow) but ever since that injury, he's left the ball up.....this is very painfull, who's gonna be the Astros hero tonight?....

....Hopefully its Wade and trades away everyone for top prospects (except for Pence & Oswalt!!!)

Sorry to interupt this choke job but....

@Buster_ESPN: Oswalt fits in a lot of ways. They could make the dollars work by moving Jayson Werth's contract -- and they'd have Oswalt for 2011.

@Buster_ESPN: Jayson Stark and I hearing a whole lot about the Phillies working hard on a deal for a frontline pitcher. Don't know for sure, but (more)

Shame, he pitched a solid game up until that 5th, and like you said could have been two outs with none on if Kepp makes the routine throw.

Only decision I don't agree with tonight from Mills is taking out Lopez after one batter with out a pinch hitting situation. It's not as if Sampson has been lights out, he's been struggling. No need in a 1 run game to take out a righty for a righty with the same sinking fastball type approach.

Oh well, hopefully our bats have a little something left in them for the 8th and 9th. Need to get out of this though.

By my count, Lyon gave up 4 line drives in that inning and only one was caught. Needless to say, he didn't have his best stuff. I though he got lucky that Soriano didn't take one of those pitches deep.

Do the Phillies have any decent prospects left, given all they've traded away in the last year or so?

I am guessing they are talking about Dan Haren. Just a guess on my part.

I could see a 3 way deal sending Oswalt to the Phillies and Jason Werth to another team with the Astros getting 4-5 top prospects with 2-3 mid prospects....I love Oswalt and he's a great pitcher, but he wants out and the Astros need help and they ain't gonna get it from the Round Rock :'(

****!!! Marmol is nasty but his control is horrible, he gave up 4 runs last time he pitched thought

They have the best prospect in all of basebal in outfielder Domonic Brown. They won't move him though because they are going to lose Werth in the offseason.

The Astros went down in 5 pitches in the 6th and 7 pitches in the 8th. 11 in the 7th.

@Buster_ESPN: Some of the pitchers the Phillies weren't talking about, as of early Tuesday evening: Ben Sheets, any of the Rays' pitchers and Dan Haren.

I hope it is Oswalt because I want this team blown up. But inside me, I don’t see Drayton McLane doing that.

Don't get too comfortable in Houston, Majewski.

    14-7

Aramis Freakin Ramirez with 3 HR and 7 RBI.
