If that doesn't sum up the 2010 Astros, I don't know what can. A guy (Feliz) that can't work a walk to save his life somehow doesn't swing at a two-strike, two-out pitch that he absolutely cannot afford to take.
that's what he was being touted as before the season...that's an insult to adam everett at this point. i think i'd call him the Brad Ausmus of shortstops right now.
I'd say his defense is only just above average from what I've seen so far. As for his hitting, he seems to have a decent enough approach but doesn't hit for average or power. What were his numbers like in the minors with regard to drawing walks?
Yeah, I was just thinking the other day how well he's done to go from a guy who for half a season, had his mere appearance at a game met by moans and groans on this board and elsewhere, to a guy who is now generally accepted as one of the more solid contributors to our team. Gotta respect the way he's put his head down and played after a nightmarish start here
Come on Lindstrom, close this puppy out!!! side note - thescorer Lance Berkman homers to go to 3-for-4. I think the Astros should find a regular spot for this guy when he comes back
