    Oh yea, Cubs lose, baby!

Did anybody see the full-fledged douche in the frontrow that they kept panning in on?

He had the classic douche goatee. He was wearing sunglasses at night. He pulled his hair down like a unicorn in the front and started doing some voodoo stuff to spark a comeback. He failed.

    :D

The postgame guys are making fun of Cubs fans at Wrigley tonight.

    So many instances of douchebaggery:

    1. Drunk girl falls down steps........... in the 1st inning.
    2. Guy throws planted ball back onto field instead of Lee's HR ball.
    3. Classic douchebag in the front row trying to rally the team in the 9th (described in previous post).
    4. Others I probably missed because I was switching back and forth between games.

I just checked the box score, and Hunter Pence was the only Astro with a plate appearance that did not strike out in the game last night.

15 strikeouts in all and we still won thanks to Lee and all the walks we received.

What a waste of a Michael Bourn at third situation.

    Yup.

We've never scored a run off Wells in 15 innings now.

A DP. Who would have predicted that.

A Miggy GIDP to end the inning. I think we all predicted that.

    On the year, Miggy has...

    24 GIDP
    17 E
    15 BB

More GIDPs and errors than walks. That is absurd.

This Wells kid has now pitched 2 games worth of shutout baseball against us.

It's all about Michael Bourn these days. Clear cut MVP of the team if you factor in everything - hitting, fielding, baserunning, hustle, etc...

    Tejada with another garbage AB.

Wells owns the Astros. 19 scoreless now.

    Update: 18 errors

Garbage. Inning ending DP if he can make an 8-foot throw to Matsui.

Tejada needs more than 1 game off.

2-0 instead of 1-0 thanks to Miggy's error. It could have been worse if not for Moehler coming up big.

Tejada has a .500 OPS over the last month.

To put that in perspective, Matsui is at about .545 during that same stretch.

Alright, that wasn't entirely Moehler's fault. He's still pitching very well.

This is depressing...I like Miggy but I could see this happening a while back. I truly wish we could rebuild and start over. I love Roy, Puma and Caballo but I am ready to move on and look at the next generation of Stros. We did that in the early 90's when we let Glenn Davis, Larry Anderson, Ashby and Doran go to make room for young players in Bagwell, Biggio, Gonzalez, Harnish, Schilling and Finley. The Cards are the only team that I can remember that were successful in rebuilding while reloading with a limited budget but its just so uncommon I am starting to really feel down about the direction the club is headed in.

Another garbage error for Hunter Pence.

Did you see that blooper yesterday?

Rookie Randy Wells now with 20 scoreless IP versus the Astros.

Moehler pitched well. Tejada and Pence both had nothing short of craptastic errors that changed the complexion of 2 separate innings.
