Bud Norris, who is 4-9 with a 2.63 ERA at Class AAA Round Rock, has been told to pack his bags to join the Astros on Wednesday at Wrigley Field.

seems like it has to. it sounds like they called him during this game, and they wouldnt bring him up to pitch relief.

Blum may be one of the most clutch Astros we've ever had.

Well I look at it this way...we lose Roy on the DL and would probably sink us anyway so atleast they are giving Norris a shot!

    BLUMMER!!!

Blum didn't cost us the series back in 05, I believe Crede, Lidge, and Qualls all had something to do with that

Well, the Reds hung around for quite a while w/out their Roy and Lance (Volquez and Votto). Maybe we can, too.

Korneko and Posendike might have played a role too!

Possibly great news...I sent Footer the Hottie a Tweet and this is her response...

alysonfooter Not necessarily a Roy DL...Maysonet could be sent out. Obviously they need pitching. #astros v #cubs

    Getting better by the second...

alysonfooter The more I think about it, the more I'm sure they'll send out a position player to make room for Norris... #astros v #cubs

i'm sure somebody put that thought in her head, first of all, and 2nd of all, anybody's first thought would be that roy is going on the DL, until told otherwise.

maybe Ortiz is getting traded or being moved to the pen or something. timing seems strange, if roy isnt going on the DL. i cant see Norris being brought up to do anything but start.
