C'mon, Lance has been plenty more direct than that. And you conveniently left out his first comment about how he shouldn't have played those games last week, where he was basically just a DH.

Sounds to me like he knows he needs to take some time off, but wishes he didn't have to stay out for two weeks. In which case I think Wade made the smart decision. If he had just stayed on the bench for another week instead, Coop would be tempted to use him and Berkman would be tempted to play. Take the temptation away and heal up completely.

Nice. Astros' offense and Cubs' defense certainly helping to take the sting out of Roy's early exit tonight.

I know its only an inning and a third but Wright sure does give me a starters feel to him.

Greatest moment in last decade is Biggios 3,000 hit? What a crappy choice. It's gotta be Kent or Burke's walkoff.

Yeah that was an awesome moment...but that moment belonged more to Biggio than the fans. I will probably always remember where I was and what I was doing during that 18 inning game.

back strain, just like the announcers speculated and what it looked like. not sure what's wrong with alyson footer or how she has a job. kind of messed up to jump on reporting that their looking at his finger as quickly as she could.

I dunno... coming from someone who was at that game, it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Obviously those HR's were more significant to their respective games, but it was an amazing experience to watch someone who has represented our city so well for so long reach a milestone like that.

the Burke walkoff for me was the best. Ausmus' Home to tie that game too.

I have to say that Chris Burke's walkoff should have won.

Now, Wesley Wright better figure out a way to get out unscathed.
