Wow! What is your position with the Cubs? Any inside info for us? I'm hoping for another cataclysmic exit from the playoffs at the hands of a stupid fan, or perhaps due to a runaway string of ivy. Now, THAT will certainly be a great "last laugh"! The Cubs are far and away the better team. But, always be prepared, when running into a Houston-based sports forum with "GO CUBBIES!! BEAT THE ASTROS!!" to receive a few good-natured middle fingers. Mine are both waving in your general direction!
If you are a real sports fan u would say we. Unlike you hicks of and Astros fan. Sweep time at Wrigley baby!
You were posting as an Astros fan in the Mets series, and now you are calling us hicks and calling for a sweep by the cubs. Well, which is it?
Chicago is under a tornado warning... skies almost solid black with tons of rain almost in... please let us get through the fifth.
Just saw an update on the weather channel. Chicago is about to be pounded with some extreme weather very soon. There is a STRONG bow shaped echo (tornadic signature on radar) headed for Chicago quickly.
Yup. Fortunately, we're through the fifth... nice job by Moehler. EDIT: You know, I've never seen a game played under a tornado warning before... you could tell they were desperate to get through 5, especially being soooo close. And as it turned out, even one or two more pitches and they might not have been able to finish it.
Just got through five innings with the Astros ahead and it's rainning like the end of the world in Chi-Town
Look at this radar. Scary. http://www.wunderground.com/radar/r...min=2&num_stns_max=9999&avg_off=9999&smooth=0 The guy on the weather channel was talking about 80-100mph gusts ahead of this squall line.
Wow this is really interesting. behind the scenes audio of a news station in Chicago. http://media.myfoxchicago.com/live
