wow....i was so underwhelmed. 2.7 yards/touch. i realize it's just one game..and he could explode in the other 15. but remember, this was a guy that some were saying was the most can't-miss prospect they'd ever seen....a year before calvin johnson wore that title.
By the way, I believe Reggie's longest rush was on an end around...which isnt really a rush...so he basically barely averaged 3 ypc. The dude still cannot run between the tackles, and based on his style, I doubt he ever will be able to do so. He continues to get hyped...
Yes, Bush sucked, so it's ok for Mario to suck. Brees also sucked. I guess that takes all the pressure of Schaub.

Well, I don't know about that but one thing I do know is that the words "can't miss prospect" and "Mario Williams" definitely don't belong together in the same sentence.
what i'm saying is, if you were upset that the Texans passed up Bush for Williams (i was one of them) then you're in no position to criticize Mario's play if Bush is sucking it up. by no means does it excuse Mario's crappy play, but you (in general) as a Bush supporter, shouldn't be criticizing the Texans.
Even if you agree with that premise, Bush has done a lot more than Mario. I think Mario should perform well as a high pick, regardless of who I wanted them to pick. Vince might start to suck, that doesnt mean we can't criticize Mario if he puts in a lack of effort.
honestly, this game scares me. if we win, everything is fine for the moment. if we lose 30-27 or something close, then it won't be the end of the world. it's the losing 30 - 12 with no semblence of an actual NFL team that's got me worried.
