Anyone else get joy out of having a punter actually do what he's supposed to do and give the opposing team bad field position after every kick?

Every aspect of this team has improved since Kubiak and the new GM were hired. I'm pumped!

Jesus, Mary and Joseph that was the best Texans game I have ever seen them play.

Defense did well. Andre was a beast except for that one fumble.

Man it was just fun to watch.

On and what the guy above me said, yes... it is nice to have a real punter now.

Jeez, have you read a single report on NFL teams heading into the season? Everyone with a clue about the NFL knows they suck this year.

And why would you cut this out of my post unless you wanted to argue (about nothing)...

"but the Texans did exactly what a superior team should do in this situation --- dominate."

i don't know where you came out on this...but if you can't see a difference between the QB we had last season and what we've seen so far in schaub, then you're blind or not looking hard enough.

Because it doesn't have any bearing on your analysis that the Chiefs suck?

So the Texans are better than terrible, I omitted that you said that, my bad?

i am very interested to see AZ and SF though, despite the fact it's gonna be on at like 2AM

Flip-flopped for me. NFC teams that are not in the NFC East don't really interest me... and the only reason the NFC East is interesting because of how historically good the teams involved are, and how bitter the rivalries are (Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, Redskins... doesn't get better than that).

I'm looking forward to seeing Carson Palmer, ocho-cinco, and TJ who'syourmamma go up against the Baltimore defense. Also, Willis McGahee, McNair, and Heap being healthy should allow Baltimore's offense to be pretty decent.

Also, not to mention that Cincy was supposed to be a Super Bowl contender going into last season, while Baltimore was a Super Bowl contender when it was all said and done last year.

Just got back from the sloppy Chargers game, but man was I psyched to see the Texans do so well in the morning. Can't wait to watch the game next week.

Good teams dominate bad teams that is my point -- the Texans from last year would have had trouble with the Chiefs today.

Why are you so freaking negative?

Why do you have such a strong dislike of the Texans and Jesus?

I agree - Kansas City really should stop that type of blasphemy.

This was a good win for the Texans. I might just yet become a hardcore fan. Confirms my hope for them and I think they are on the right track.

(They would not have done this with Carr still leading the team)

They will go 7-0 before their first loss. Theres win # 1. Enough with the negative Nancys this team is really good. The best team ever fielded by the franchise. They weren't even at their best tonight.

A 2-yard QB "sneak"? Give me a break... it wasn't like that was a 40-yd scramble...

Mario Williams had the best day of last year's top picks by far.
