The comment "this franchise is a joke" didn't have an "if" accompanying it. Anyway, if Okoye doesn't go here, a lot of folks are going to get their wish, I think.
If Okoye is there at 10, I hope we don't trade and take him. Okoye is the only player that I would not trade the pick if he is available.
Again, the comment "this franchise is a joke" did not have an "if" or any other qualifier and was made to describe supposedly passing on Young and Peterson in back-to-back years, which was premature. (And that's not even discussing the reality that if Vince walks on water the way so many of you think he does, the Texans wouldn't have been in the top 10 to draft Peterson.)
John McClain in his blog on chron.com said earlier that Denver would be interested in trading up to 10 if Okoye is there, which it appears he will be. So that's a possibility.
Hmm, way to be overly technical and portray his comment out of context, but whatever. It was clear what he meant. However, to point a fact, it is true that the franchise is a joke. What he said wasn't inaccurate.
Brady Quinn or Matt Schaub? It will be interesting to see over the next several years how this panned out for the Texans
But your reply made it clear you understood why he was calling them a joke. Let's just let it go... I think everyone is on the same page... or atleast chapter.
