I think I just threw up in my mouth...

Oh well...at least that's one less burnt orange shirt I have to look at when I go to Texans games.

I just do NOT get the idea that someone will not root for a team if they don't take players from a certain college. This isn't freaking playground ball where you pick your buddies. I understand loyalty to your college, but keep it in NCAA where it belongs.

my spectacles are colored purple and gold if you look at the bottom picture.

i'm just knocking around some people here.

I couldn't care less where Selvin goes.

He's no friend of mine. He's no family of mine.

I just want the Texans to win.

Looking at it objectively, it's no more or less illogical than having to be slavishly devoted to a team because of geographical happenstance. If people want to root for teams for whatever silly reason (after all - it's SPORTS, supposed to be for fun) then I don't see any reason being more or less valid.

I let Selvin cheat off my papers so he could go to UT.

Is it really any different from Chinese fans rooting for the Rockets because of Yao? Unless you have some real reason to root for a particular team, people often follow their favorite players and follow the teams they go to. I don't get the idea that there's some right or wrong choice for sports fans and who they should root for.

I thought it was funny, esp after all the insanity last year.

I love the first two picks. Both players are young, athletic, and have major upsides. I saw Jones at the East-West Shrine game here in Houston and he was a man among boys.

I'm pretty sure I saw Jacoby Jones running at a local high school track yesterday. I could be wrong, if someone else can prove his exact whereabouts. Looking at his pics and build now, I think it was him. The dude was burning up the track running sprints. Was there before I arrived and was running what looked even faster when my lazy ass left to go home. On another note, at the Raptors game a few weeks ago at TC I saw Vince. Had a cap pulled down, bulky clothes...nobody recognized him. He got carded for a beer right in front of me.

IMHO one roots for his favs but not necessarily their teams. For example, KG and AI are two of my favorite NBAers and I root for them -- but never their teams. I still root for Stevie but hate the Isaih Knicks.

Selvin is just imitating our true lord and savior Vince Young. He is just a disciple of lord Young. ;)

All this nut-busting about the Browns and their awesome draft is starting to make me nauseous. It reminds me of 2003 when people were kissing the Ravens' asses and handing out "A+" grades to them - for trading up to get Kyle Boller.

Where does Jackie Battle go? 4th round? 5th?

I want the Texans to go secondary in the 4th, and if Battle's left in the 5th, grab him up. He'll be our combo back of the future. The guy's gonna be bigtime.

On the money. Bush or his supporters can say whatever, but when duesce got nicked up, the running game went in the hole. Jones drew and Addai did much better than he did and they were taken 30 picks later. I just dont see a part time player avg 3.5 per carry in spot duty all of a sudden being 4.5 eventhough the other old guy is at 4.5. He is what he is and if Kubiak drafted the guy and gave him handoffs up the middle, people would be crying he's utilized right. Isnt that what running backs suppose to do though, run up the middle?

    LOL, that was funny.

Nice impersonation of tinman, complete with big font and the overuse of jpegs.

All you need is to put some rap lyrics in there.
